John has an enthusiasm for coaching that is clear in the sentiments of his own words. He loves seeing his athletes progress physically but the mental transformation that drives progress is what he truly appreciates. He knows that taking ownership and control of what the body is truly capable of achieving is not easy, as he himself was reluctantly introduced to CrossFit, believing he was fit based on his athletic background. A month after his first class, he obtained his CrossFit Level 1 and continues to become more educated in helping others realize true fitness and health.

John is analytical by nature so when you think he’s quietly staring off into space or consumed in deep thoughts, he’s really plotting how to help you improve your technique!
